Blue Ash Tenant Spotlight: Amour Lashes

When speaking with Tiffany Montgomery of Amour Lashes, her passion for making others feel confident and beautiful is obvious.

Tiffany has been an esthetician for a year and a half and is skilled in the art of lash extensions, full body waxing, and micro shading. Microshading, not to be confused with microblading (an art in which a hand held tool is used  to cut strokes into eyebrows to place pigment under the skin, giving the appearance of thicker and fuller eyebrows), uses a tool similar to a tattoo machine to make dots that make the eyebrows appear fuller. This is a more gentle tactic compared to microblading. While her lashes have become her most popular service, microshading is her favorite to do.

Tiffany has always wanted to be a part of the beauty community. While she loves cosmetology, doing hair wasn’t her calling. She attended classes at Aveda Fredric’s Institution to become an esthetician and later went on to take courses in Lash Art, where she fell in love with the practice. Just a few short month later, she received her license from the Board of Cosmetology.

Below are the services she offers and how frequently you need to go for upkeeping!

  • Lashes – Similar to keeping up with your nails, you start off by getting your initial set and then go back for fill ins every two to three weeks.
  • Microshading – Lasts up to TWO YEARS with a touch up every, approximately, year to year and a half.
  • Full Body Waxes – Depending on the location, can last from four to six weeks.

Services cost anywhere from $15 to $250 depending on what you would like. Something simple, like eyebrow waxing would be more in the $15 region while the microshading costs around $250, but lasts a long time.

When it comes to the future, Tiffany eventually plans on expanding her services quite a bit. She would eventually like to get into skin care and facials with a hydro facial machine. And is also considering going back to school to learn massage therapy. While she is currently working solo, she plans on possibly having a cosmetologist and a nail technician joining her team making Amour Lashes the complete package!

Tiffany stated multiple times through our interview just how much she loves and adores her clients and how she wants them to feel comfortable and welcomed. She said that she was told “it’s always girl time” when you’re at Amour Lashes.

Amour Lashes is open from 9 AM – 4 PM, except for Wednesdays, & 1 PM – 3 PM every other Sunday.
